HMCS St. Croix
Commissioned: 24 Sep 1940

Formerly USS McCook, transferred to RCN. 24 Jul 1942 she sank U-90 in the North Atlantic. 4 May 1943 Shediac and St. Croix sank U-87. Torpedoed and sunk by U-305 on 20 Sep 1943. The first victim of an acoustic torpedo. 5 Officers and 76 men were rescued by HMS Itchen, but only one survived the loss of Itchen two days later.
